I'm writing this several weeks after I did this work so details may be sparse.

I started by countersinking the flap braces to accept a dimple from the skin. I needed a backer to give the nub on the countersink something to sit in so the countersink stays centered on the hole so I matched-drilled a small strip to about 10 holes and used that. Annoyingly, the outboard 8 or so holes in the flap brace use a different spacing than all the rest so I match-drilled those as well on the support strip.

After the flap braces were drilled, I primed the aileron bracket parts and aileron gap fairing.

Then I started assembling all the bits and pieces into the aileron brackets. This was fiddly to make sure I got the right parts on the right sides in the right places, and then fiddly again trying to get all the rivets set.

In the end, they looked really nice and now the brackets and braces and fairings are ready to get attached to the rear spar!
