Continuing after cutting the giant holes in the tank end ribs, I started working on the doubler rings. I did some careful placement of the cover plates followed by some match drilling using the covers to get the screw holes transferred to the ribs. Next, I used those screw holes to cleco on the ring and used the ring to match drill the nutplate rivet holes to the ribs.

Then I deburred the holes, countersunk the rivet holes in the doubler rings, and dimpled the rivet holes in the ribs.

Finally, I riveted the nutplates and the doubler rings to the ribs.
